A thermostat has nothing to do with it, fuel consumption, engine, fuel consumption, or the like. The thermostat is only opened when the coolant reaches a certain temperature, allowing the coolant to cool the engine. If you are not open, it just means that the coolant does not go to a certain temperature, which is distributed in a liquid cooling - it means that your water heater does not work in warm weather.
ReplyDeleteWell, if you are curious as to why gasoline consumption has decreased, this could be for several reasons - the tire valve PVC injectors, fuel pump - a number of things - not only do something to thermostat. Can you get checked for some reason ... Hope that helps.
